Opening Up My Creative Mind

Tis has been awhile since my last entry....guess I've been too busy to sit down and write something.  I'm working on a few projects right now.  One of them is a play that I will be choreographing for.  It's going to be a small black comedy play sort of like the one I did many years ago at the Fringe Club called "Fertility Goddess".  I'm working with the same director Crystal Kwok as well as another one of the actors.  It's just the sort of small play that I love to do.  I think the most challenging thing is that I'm going to have to play a character who is much older than I am...and who has experience much more in life than I have....so...we'll see how that goes..hahaha....I might have to do my research.  It will also b a challenge choreographing the dances in the show.  I'm excited though.....the teaching has definitely opened up my creative side...since I've taught groove dance and hip hop (which was more like jazz funk) at Pure for the past few weeks.  And I'm really having a lot of fun with it   

So...it's going to be an intense month with rehearsals for 2 shows (musical moments and this new play).  Plus!  Teaching....it's going to be a dancing month!
