revelations

I have had a great week.  Lots of revelations in my life and new things happening.  Saturday was my first time teaching a normal dance class.  Things didn't go too well in the beginning because I didn't know that you were supposed to bring your own plug if you wanted to use an ipod for the music....and it just took me awhile to learn how to work the sound system at the IFC Pure (I'm used to teaching at the Soho Pure)...but, thank God I had 2 friends who came to my class to support me and they took care of getting the wire for me!!!  It was really exciting for me. I think this teaching thing has really helped me tap into my creative side....made me start loving choreography:) 

So...this week I'm actually going to teach a hip hop class....which I must be frank, that is not my style of dancing...so...I'm afraid it's going to be more like jazz funk than hip hop.  OH well...

.As for singing....just working on learning some new songs for my next show....and I've actually started to write more and practice guitar again!  I'd really rather play piano...but, my place is not big enough to move my piano back into my apartment....so....that will have to wait for when I can afford a bigger place. So far...I've been pretty good about practicing...my fingers are starting to get calluses..YAY!!!  makes me feel like I'm practicing hard!!! hahahaha.....
