Ok, so...there has been a lot of things going on in my life. I just haven't had the time to blog about it. So...let me just start from the trip back to the U.S. I was actually there for 1 month. In that month, I sang the national anthem at an Oakland A's baseball game, visited my sister and brother...got to spend time with my son (also known as my dog, Seth...so, I don't really have a child) went to Chicago for a worship conference at Willow Creek, went to the house of prayer in Kansas, and then went back to SF to spend the last few days of my trip with my sister, brother, and son (Seth)....and, that's when I went skydiving! so...there has been a lot going on with me....and that was only up till June 8th!! I'll have to do separate blogs for all the other places I've been to up until now....
(my beautiful boy!!! This is Seth!!)
So, a lot of new things happening to me in my spiritual life. Not many people know that I'm quite spiritual...I just don't think that it is an appropriate topic to preach about...because so many people are opinionated about religion. But, I'll just go ahead and say that I'm a strong Christian....and hope that the world won't judge...because some of us are actually good people....you've just come across the bad seeds in our "kind"....
So, let me just share a little bit...because it is a big part of my life. I'm on the worship team at my church...which means that I'm a part of the church band. I'm obviously the singer....anyways....some of us went to Chicago for a conference and to learn more about improving our own worship team. They had different sessions at the conference...and thousands of people attended. I ended up going to a lot of dance and drama sessions. It's amazing to see the talent of these worship leaders. They really can act, sing, and dance...I expected some cheesy drama...like most Christian related drama's tend to be...but, it was so professional and the topics were so real.
(I couldn't believe how big this church was!!! And, how many people there were)
Anyways....I got a lot out of the sessions...and with creativity and art....when you have a spiritual connections there are no limits to what you can accomplish....when I blog about something as personal as my beliefs in God, I'd like to hope that I can express them in a non threatening way for those people who aren't believers. But, it is truly a supernatural feeling that I get whenever I perform anything....
there is no other feeling in life....it's like being outside of myself and completely surrendering myself....
a lot of people joke and say that my real person...who is quite shy and sometimes more insecure....and the person on stage is so completely different....well, let me just tell you a little secret...that person, comes from the spirit inside...that's why I love it so much!!!
(I made them form the letters in honor of our church, Solomon's Porch)

Here is a video of one of the sessions at the conference. This session was called "Dance Choreography"...so, part of the routine is actually what we learned at the beginning of the class...and the 2nd half we had to create ourselves....
