Thanks For A Fun Night!!

Last Friday night I had another gig at Backstage.  I had another great band...this time with Eugene Pao, Ted Lo (whom I've been wanting to work with for forever now!!), Al Gordon, and Sylvain Gagnon (I will be able to pronounce your name one day!!!)  These guys were awesome!!  And, even though we never have enough time to practice...somehow...we always get through the night...I owe it all to them because they are such talented guys they don't really need the rehearsal as much as I do!!  But, Thanks guys for the extra effort and for putting up with a gal who needs to improve on her music theory!  I'm workin on it!!! 

A special thanks to my special guests...Solomon Siah, who impressed the audiences and the star band with his original song and then a duet with moi! ....a shout out to the great MJ!  "I'll Be There"...which...I could NOT sing about 5 yrs ago. 

And to Adrian Da Silva for his duet with me "Falling Slowly"....not to mention putting up with my amateur piano playing...and his solo "Black Star"   Thanks for doing that for me...you know I ask you because I'm a fan of that voice!  hahaha...what's your band called again??  j/k

And to the great Brazilian pianist, Joao Macarehenas ( I will also work on pronouncing your name correctly...might take a while) ...for his surprise audience interaction song with me..."Triste".  We'll definitely work together again! 

It was definitely and amazing night and so much fun!!!  There is still no other feeling like being on that stage with a great band!!!  Thanks all for supporting me and for all of your help.  I will try to promote my shows better in the future.  I didn't do a good job this time because I had too many things going on before..but, next time!!! 

Also, a special thanks to my cousin Clinton for taking video for my show!  I'll post some things once it's edited...and also thank you to Thomas Lui for his excellent photos!  I will also post those up soon and let you all know that Thomas is also on Alive Not Dead...and pls support his work!!!
