Hong Kong 3 March 2010: UNTITLED Entertainment is proud to present hip hop mastermind DJ Vadim and mistress of rhymes MC Yarah Bravo, live in Hong Kong on 26 March 2010. 

Described as "one of the few artists creating genuinely new work in the Hip Hop field", Russian-born DJ Vadim has performed in every country in Europe, all over the Americas, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Israel, Turkey and South East Asia; with the likes of DJ Krush,The Roots, Pharcyde, Public Enemy, Beat Junkies, Dilated Peoples, Kraftwerk, as well as at events like Sonar Festival, Glastonbury and the Moscow Street Ball festival (to over 60,000 people!).

Founder of independent record labels Jazz Fudge and BBE (between joining Ninja Tune), DJ, producer, promoter, record collector, radio presenter, occasional painter, writer, and in-house producer/dj and cohort of Latin Grammy nominees, the multi-talented DJ Vadim is often compared to the likes of DJ Shadow and Krush.

Using unassuming synths and innovative sound effects that underscore potent hip-hop abstraction, DJ Vadim sets down a style that enhances beats and rap lyrics with reverent electronics. The internationally acclaimed beat chemist has been called the "John Coltrane of Hip Hop", influencing the world with his brilliant weaving of music styles such as reggae, soul and electronica for the past 15 years.

His sweet beats in Hong Kong will be complemented by his Brazilian-Swedish wife, MC Yarah Bravo's sultry spoken word, with thoughtful lyrics that offer a lot more than just booty and bling, guaranteed to sweep you off your feet.

史上最忙碌的俄羅斯籍DJ/製作人DJ Vadim。 DJ Vadim,本名Andrey Gurov，人稱hip hop界的John Coltrane，1992年被Ninja Tune簽下，1995年創立自己的廠牌Jazz Fudge。他不僅多產，除了DJ/製作人之外還身兼多樣職務，合作過的對象更是不計其數，而且都大有來頭。像是日本抽象hip hop大師DJ Krush、紐約underground hip hop名團Company Flow、來自費城的jazz hip hop巨星The Roots、LA的The Pharcyde與Dilated People、美國東岸hardcore/political rap沙場老將Public Enemy、由一群菲律賓裔的美國DJ組成的Beat Junkies等。他的才華不只在hip hop圈中受重視，包括drum n' bass名製作人Ed Rush、德國電子音樂先驅Kraftwerk、英國trip hop團Morcheeba、英國搖滾大團Super Furry Animal以及The Jam與The Style Council首腦Paul Weller等，都曾經合作過，可見DJ Vadim的才華洋溢。

除了以DJ Vadim的名字發行專輯之外，有時也會用本名或是藝名Little Aida發表作品。 DJ Vadim在99年發行專輯USSR: Life from the Other Side不只卡司堅強(Scratch Perverts、Blade、Dilated People的Iriscience等)。他還特別組了個團The Russian Percussions巡迴演出，陣容也是不能小看，包括Scratch Perverts的Mr. Thing (唱盤)、Killa Kela (beatbox)、Blue Rum 13 (MC)以及John Ellis (keyboard)。這個團總共巡迴了200場，足跡遍佈歐州各國與美國，真嚇人。他同時也是西班牙一個hip hop團7 Notas 7 Colores的DJ/製作人，參加過一個許多藝術家組成的團隊The Isolationist。 2005-5006年間則忙著與老婆MC Yarah Bravo組的One Self，另一個團員是MC Blue Rum 13。 One Self的首張專輯Children of Possibility在2005年9月發行。

這樣的經歷夠豐富了吧，他會這麼忙碌也不是沒有原因的，他的取樣技巧可是首屈一指的。他的音樂結合了hip hop與電子，還加入了許多元素，像是reggae/soul/R&B/disco/dub等，還有世界音樂。作品中有純音樂的抽象hip hop，也有饒舌，所以他的作品可想而知的具有多樣的面貌。
