Books vs. Cigarettes

I'm working on some illustrations for a few George Orwell essays. is an awesome essay where Orwell calculates the cost of all the books he owns and compares that to the price of smoking and drinking for a year, roughly and kind of concisely estimated. Thusly! showing that all ye who (in 1946) used expense as a reason for not reading books/periodicals/etc were actually quoting a pretty unreasonable excuse.
