Shanghai Blues being my first attempt as the lead role with the musical inclination has now been added to my CV.
I am glad that I have pulled this through given that I am not musically trained. I daringly took up the challenge and the journey was definitely not a smooth walk in the park. I was able to convert the stress into any forms of energy to push myself further. For that, I surprised myself.
Most felt that I was vocally weak but my portrayal of the role was convincing. To date, it was the toughest role I had ever acted. Overall many enjoyed the show, and a handful didn't. Thank You all for all the honest feedbacks and comments as I will continue to work hard.
I am thankful that the reviews were constructive for my personal advancement as a performer. I have lots of encouragements and learnt loads during this stressful period. My cast mates and crew were all awesome and lovely.
How fortunate I am also to have friends that were so encouraging. I thank all my friends, fans and those who love and support throughout this journey in Shanghai Blues.
This experience will definitely help me in my future projects. I will never stop challenging myself.
Thank you all who were involved and were there to watch.
Royston, Dollei, Eline and all from Fly. Beautiful Flowers... Thank you!
