On an assignment for The National newspaper, I met Raza Abbas, a restarauntuer and entrepreneur now based in Dubai. I followed him and 7 lucky construction workers he chose at random on their unforgettable Eid experience. Raza had them picked up in a limo, taken for a ride around town and finally dropped off at his restaurant @swaadish.uae where a scrumptious Eid meal awaited each and every one of them. To top things off they each got movie tickets at @voxcinemas to go see a movie of their choice. They said it was an experience they would never forget. I can probably say the same for myself. It's a hard life for many of the labourers who shared their story with me.
