Sorry for the uploading of my latest project, The Disabled. I hope you guys can view them now.
Last night, I went to an interesting event, Purim on Ponce here in Atlanta that honors a coming out process, and also to honor my dear friend, Gus Kaufman, for his contributions to the Jewish Community in Atlanta for more than a quater of a century.
Now the interesting thing is normally when I go to the party, especially model's party, I am one of the older, more estalished individual. But last night I was literally one of the youngest ones, and less estalished.. haha.. Thats something for a change!! All of the foks who attended are people who have gone through liFe and still living it--happily.
So it was really fun just to observe the people enjoying themselves, dancing to the music awkwardly...as most of them didn't really know how to dance. The DJ was not spinning by our nowadays standard..just play some funky gay music to the crowd...
I must say the event was an eventful one, and one that got me thinking about how important the coming out process was.. in each and all of us. Without accepting who we are, and brave enough to confront the world head on about us, our identity, and self, how happy could we be?
So seeing these people just simply enjoy their life at that moment brings me so much joy. At last, somewhere in the world there is some peace, happiness, and full of smiles.
Until then,
Take care
