Across the Bund today ...

Looking across the Huang Pu River over to Shanghai's Bund this afternoon .... it was a touching and the saddest view ... all the Chinese flags that i could see were hanging at half mast and a solitary barge carrying a giant LCD billboard was sailing down river ...... with the poignant thoughts of an entire Nation (if not the World) written on it ...

"THE WHOLE COUNTRY IS IN SORROW"

"FOR OUR COMRADES WHO HAVE SUFFERED IN THE WENCHUAN EARTHQUAKE"

"HEAVEN IS HELPING CHINA ~  OUR WHOLE COUNTRY IS UNITED"

"REBUILDING STARTS NOW ~ WE WILL OVERCOME THIS TOGETHER"

23,775  are still missing .....

274,683 have been injured .....

5,000,000+ are now homeless .....

Let's continue to pass on our thoughts and prayers for all those who have suffered and lost ....
