Dougie's BIG hands!

Scottie's dear Uncle Hans (Ebert), legendary Hong Kong music producer, invited us to join him and his mate for drinks at Blue Bar at the Four Seasons ..... seemed like a good idea as not much doing this afternoon ...

it's always fun to discuss life and banter with Uncle Hans, but today was made all the more fun when his mate turned out to be 8-times (soon-to-be 9-times) record-smashing Hong Kong Champion Jockey, horseman supremo Douglas Whyte - Wow! What a surprise!

we had a delightful time discussing things from Dougie's favorite color of racehorses, to comparing his race riding technique down the straight to lovemaking, what actually happens to retired horses (very touching) ... and then eventually moving on to his (all jockeys') very large and powerful hands (i couldn't help from starring at them    .. hope i didn't freak him out)... was real fascinating stuff - Scottie was just listening intently in awe ....

being the Four Seasons Hotel, the Lemon Ice Tea we had was done with an extra nice touch .... the ice cubes were actually made outta frozen tea ....ingenious - i like it much!!

was a shame I had to rush off for a meeting .... as would have loved to hang with these guys a tad longer .... the conversation topics were just getting more interesting and interesting ... haha

BTW .... Hans was the man behind Michael Learns To Rock  ... creators of my A1 karaoke schmultz song choice ...
