Eating our way to Tian'anmen Square .....

My sis is visiting me for a few days and its her for the first time here in BJ. She flew-in with my bro-in-law from HK this afternoon. Submitting to their seemingly restless desire to instantly visit Tian'anmen and to pay homage to Chairman Mao's portrait, once they dumped their luggage in the lounge of my apartment, we fiendishly zoomed in a taxi (through the early rush hour traffic) to Wangfujing 王府井 and set-off on foot for the Square, hoping to reach it before dusk for some touristy photo-taking ....

Typically, being the fat food-loving munchkin i am,  i suggested we take culinary route through Wangfujing Eat Street and Dong'anmen Da Jie Food Night Market (it was just starting to get busy there) and to have some fun, eating the way to our desired destination ....

I'm sure there is something for everyone's taste here below ..... btw,  the Golden Centipedes and BBQ sheep's testicles were delicious :oP

On the journey back home, my mobile phone must have slipped outta my pocket in the taxi .... so, I gotta shop for a new phone and sort out a new SIM card with China Mobile first bloody thing in the morning (will be keeping the same number for those who have it)  ...... HOT DAMN SOD IT! .....
