the outcome of a MSN chat i had with my little bro Amy last Friday, concluded with the understanding that i needed to set-up a "feng shui" placement in my apartment, as per her amateur recommendations - her knowledge attained via many mis-spent hours reading in magazines and watching on CableTV, the wise and wiley teachings of feng shui guru ... the great Master So Man Fung -- oh yes, the true pony-tailed one!
she was adamant (i do have reason trust her) that in order to spin a positive turn on my present predicament and life desires, I needed to position a solitary black "big-eyed" goldfish, along with one black stone, as well as with one blade of sea-grass at the most Easterly position in my apartment.
so, being one of my tasks set for this week and it already being Wednesday, when i awoke at 7am earlier today, i decided it was time to beef-up the feng shui in my life .... and to headed out for some early morning exploring of Beijing's outer 3rd ring and to locate Shi Li He 十里河 Pet market .... which i had heard of but never actually been to .... i knew it was within a 30mins walking radius of my home....
"Pet Market', it most definitely was and it sure emcompassed most creatures "small" in size (except for strangely enough canines) ..... fish, birds, insects, reptiles, fluffies, the works .... it was yet another fun eye-opener for yours truly

Crickets .... love these caged warriors ....
All set now ..... "lucky feng shui" please come and ravage me -- haha!
Lately i believe i'm getting more and more enigmatic (sadly, not by choice) ... a horizontally challenged man of many confused, yet complex layers amidst extrem
