raisins & sultanas ....

whilst grocery shopping at Park N Shop this afternoon with Nicola, my teenage neice, the little sweetie had the audacity to challenge her Fat Uncle Pat to a dessert cook-off ....so, i efficiently chucked into the trolley ... some plain flour, butter, raisins

, 4 apples, 2 pears and a honest tub of trusty Neopolitan .... had instantly decided, was making Apple & Pear Crumble served with ice cream .... the British classic!

this old boy's still got game in the kitchen! ... pretty happy with the outcome ...

eagerly awaiting Nic's dessert offering tomo nite ....

can someone enlighten me please - know the difference between RAISINS & SULTANAS?
