stocked up for the weekend ...

All set for the weekend .... stocked up from my visit to the nearby Carrefour  hyperstore (the only real outlet for Western brand creature comforts) in Shuang Jing yesterday ...

Eating at the hundreds of local "family style" restaurants (家常餐廳) is good value (cheap) and extremely tasty .... 60rmb will sort you with meal for 4pax inclusive a couple big bottles of icy Yanjing beers ...

The Beijing air feels fresh and crisp all the time becoz it's so damn cold here ..... but don't be fooled ..... they are pumping out the naughties day in day out (during the night too I'm pretty sure).....with no humidity and dew in the air, in reality it means you are breathing in fresh raw pollution .... haha!

My present everyday survival necessities below .... boiling hot Chysanthamum tea essential!
