Taiwan's finest ...

Have wondered over the past few months from the repeated noises which i have absorbed from various sources waxing lyrical, singing priases and telling to keep an eyeout for a  little romantic rock flick from Taiwan (from first time feature film writer/director) - Wei Te Sheng .... if i remember correctly, starting from the time I was getting ready to leave Beijing in July until now .... it is on general release in HK starting today, and so I finally got the opportunity to see it myself -- 海角七號 Cape No.7 ...

will say nothing more except .... GO SEE IT! (if u can) ..

this "little" movie is a MONSTER success ..... and is Taiwan's highest grossing domestic film and second at the all-time box-office only losing out to Titanic.
