actually, i really do enjoy going to the cinema and watching movies .... usually, once or twice a week (one of my cheaper vices) ... but, i only like to mention in my blogs the ones that really do make an impression on me and then, try not to give too much away (yes, i like to think i have "film talk etiquette" - haha) ...
this week, i saw Tropic Thunder (the highlight was Matthew McConaughey) and tonite after a spot of grocery shopping at Jusco - Kornhill, on the spur of the moment fancied watching a flick .... starting at roughly the same time, it was a choice between 007 - Quantum of Solace, Smart People and The Women ...... I wasn't really bothered, so I let Amy decide .... and she chose the latter ....
hadn't really paid much attention to the pre-hype before seing it tonite (except remembering Meg Ryan was on Letterman a couple of weeks ago talking about it a little, modestly). ... i am so glad of the choice - as i enjoyed it thoroughly .....

The Women runs just under 2-hours long ... and u'll realize something special about this film after it ends ... something is missing - but not really missed at all .... i guess, half the world's population would probably agree with me ....
it's touching on a few levels and at times truly hilarious - it takes on friendships & rivalry, sisterhood, infidelity maintenance & strategy, ego management and mothering .....it definitely gets fat pat's 5 stars -- go see it!
i'm in love with line from it - "don't be bitter, it just leads to Botox!"
BTW .... I really believe Meg Ryan to be a natural "girl next door" beauty .... and I really hate her new pouty blown-up lips .... Meg's new face, better or worse people?
Lately i believe i'm getting more and more enigmatic (sadly, not by choice) ... a horizontally challenged man of many confused, yet complex layers amidst extrem
