FAC 51 History lesson

Here's some pics that i found to give you a taste of FAC 51.

Many of us used to line up outside this sign awaiting what you knew would always be a great night with the music family.

i worked there for a while and it became my second home and owned the famous FAC51 black tee.

The Haçienda finally closed down in the 90's after much craziness with gangs, drugs, security and police. it was a sad day for all when it finally lost its licence.

funny thing is now.. Y3 have launched a sneaker with Adidas/ Haçienda collab. Design is between Peter Savlille ( factory record's boss) , Ben Kelly - the architect for the interiors, Peter Cook - Joy Divison/ New Order's Bassist.

packaging details are awesome..Box is custom made - 6 sided shaped like the dancefloor. tissue paper features the original sketches for the cubs interiors, current state of the space - they turned it into apartments..eeek keeping th original..and Kevin cummin's original  80's photo's -  345 GBP!.includes history of the club in  DVD.. crazy..
