A couple of days ago I went to the south of Beijing to work on a TV series called雪豹(snow leopard)… It was just for one episode (one-day work), but it was really a great experience! prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /
Of course I’m not talking about the weather: we were outside all day by -10°C, in the snow… The only place we could “warm” ourselves was the tiny old bus were we changed clothes and I didn’t spend long in there for I was shooting most of the time! I felt that my ears, fingers and toes were about to fall off…
Despite the cold, I literally had a lot of fun. I did wires again and… I had to fight and shoot real guns all day!!! The best thing is that my character was really cool: even though he was a Nazi (which I didn’t feel really comfortable with), he was really a strong character. In the script, he was supposed to get 20 soldiers armed with rifles into an old factory and he would shoot them all, one by one, with his handgun! He was stealth, fast, cold-blooded… Hmmm! The director made me do it in such a cool way… I can’t wait to see that episode!
Here are some of the pictures I took on set… I’m afraid I can’t reveal anything more…But I promise I’ll put more photos online after the series comes out!
By the way, I feel really bad for all the cast, the crew and the extras who are still working outside these days…prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /Beijinghas been extremely cold lately! Cheer up y’all! :)
