i'm curious how he gets the dimensions of these objects ('several hundred feet in diameter' and '5 miles long', '2 miles long', etc).
Without a stereo camera or range finder, its quite difficult to estimate the size.
True, but anything he says based on the size (that these are moon sized super-ships that are mining the rings of Saturn, etc) has to be taken with a grain of salt!
(sounds like the Death Star actually the way he talks about it!!!)
