This is so strong and powerful, and why I would love to talk to young / teen girls in schools one day. It takes immense fortitude for us to harness the complex hurricane of being female. We are intense, emotional, flexible yet unyielding, dynamic, clever, joyful, loving, sharing, stubborn, soft and gentle yet able to pick up our broken pieces and laugh after a million shatterings. To be fierce, to find our way, to be able to fight and compete and WIN and be beautifully feminine if we damn well want to be. That's being a girl.
