Banned in Beijing. When a book was too controversial, it might proudly state on the cover "banned in Boston" so it appears, I have encountered similar censorship. My romance short film Melon Harvest was too hot and steamy for Beijing. After my film was showed, police shut down the short film festival that was screening it. You can see it here. While a gladly accept the laurel of BANNED IN BEIJING, I feel sorry for those film makers that did not get screened after the authorities shut down the event.
