Ohhh young love. ^^ Boy meets girl, boy falls in love. Boy loses girl, but tries to get her back.

I say, go see it – its relatable and takes place in downtown Los Angeles. W atch it all unfold and through the lovelorn eyes of Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s as Tom Hansen, a would-be architect toiling away at a greeting card company. Tom thinks he’s found the perfect woman in Summer Finn (Zooey Deschanel).

I must confess, I watched (250) days of summer a week ago and slept through the rest. It was because I was extremely tired though, not because it’s a life-altering romance comedy or chick flick. lol.

So I curiously returned to the theater this week to re-watch the imbalances of love, the amazing vintage inspired wardrobes (over 40 outfit changes), clever split screen side-by-side shots, cheeky dance sequence, awesome soundtrack, and now know how their up and down relationship all fell apart in “500 days of summer.” haha

And, upsetting as it may have been for Tom & a lot of us, we all need our idealistic storybook-romance bubble popped. The result is a story of expectations vs. reality. Cheers to reality whether you’re single, married, or anything in-between.

Now who wants to go on a ikea date with me or watch Paper Heart?
