China says NO NO to Google,

All Google services including Gmail!!!

in the CCTV interview below, a University study claims that his friend searched porn sites on search engine ESPECIALLY GOOLE.COM.CN.

He also says watching porn made his friend very depressed, and these sites are all from google.com.

But what China is doing has nothing to do with porn. They are terrified that the Chinese people will utilize the internet as effectively as the protesters in Iran. Since China has legalized prostitution China really has nothing to be proud of in terms of what image of women it promotes both domestically and internationally. It shows up on AnD, too. More than one blog I have read by a male AnD artist has featured a Mainland massage parlor. If it was really about offensive adult internet sites, I think you'd see some vocal women involved in this campaign. China still has a long way to go--I don't think I've ever heard of a Chinese feminist. In a country of 1.5 billion, that is rather surprising.
