it's cash dinner again,
same old venue, time, food, run down, awards, ppl, environment, busy, hectic, noisy, messy, any everything else.
advantage (for writers)
u get to meet old friends and make new ones,
free food (but actually, they pay with you royalties, u just don't know it.)
check out the who wrote the best melody, lyrics, arranged, produced, classical, pop, alternative etc......... (according to their standard)
but generally, it's fun.
for every year, my duty as a Creative Executive of Warner/Chappell, i am to contact each writer and ask them if they wanna go, arrange seats for them, and welcome them on the day, no big deal actually, it's quite fun. but for some reason, i tend to have myself running around all the time during the dinner and seldom get to sit down and eat.
for me, all i wanna see is my writers turning up, it's true, seeing wcm writers unit as one showing off these talented m**er f*kers is something cool for me! ON MY TABLE! hahahaha
