Canto Version of Just the way you are...

Hello peeps! Happy Lunar new year!

It's been a while since I blogged on alivenotdead. Apologies! I just came back from Tokyo for a family trip for Chinese new year, ate a lot, shopped a lot, and now I'm back home catching up on all my emails, and wonderful messages from fans. It's always something I look forward to reading. And it got me thinking how much I've learned and grown in this past year, and the people I had to thank. I need to thank so many people. All the people at backstage esp Dennis, Bok, Aby, my voice teacher Mary, Catherine from Fringe Club, John from the Wanch, Chris from Underground HK, Seow Yee from Singapore's Timbre Music group, Christine from Taipei's A House, all my instrumentalists like Terrence, Daniel; music friends like Jake Shimabukuro, Jian C, Felix Tsang, Kevin Kaho Tsui, Evelyn, Karen, Martini, Jude, Heartgrey, VVish, etc., and of course, Hummingbird Music, esp Lupo and Tan... my friends, family, and fans who send in beautiful messages... (and I'm sorry if I missed you out....)

And, of course, alivenotdead.com

In this past year, alivenotdead has helped me more than you know. From wonderful performance opportunities like Music Matters, to collaborations with talented musicians like Jake Shimabukuro, to networking, to spotlighting my music video on their homepage, Alivenotdead.com has been one of the most important reasons why I am where I am. Thank you for always thinking of me, thank you for always giving me a chance to be heard, and thank you for all this, without asking for anything in return. Thank you, Thank you, thank you. I will NEVER forget all that you've done for me. It all started off because wonderful girl (Connie you're awesome!) I had never met saw me on youtube and introduced me to Patrick, CEO of alivenotdead. And that's how it all started.

Recently, a fan, Lai Ming, sent in beautiful cantonese lyrics for Just the way you are, amongst many others. He is an amazingly talented lyricist and I hope this video did his lyrics justice. I'd like to also thank him and congratulate him here for this video's success. Enjoy!
