Thursday night we went to support our friend and amazing artist Simon Birch at the Hong Kong Museum of Art. The exhibition "Looking for Antonio Mak" features real pieces of the popular sculptor with other artists paying tribute to him with their own work and interpretations (the exhibition lasts until Jan 28). After that we went to the Louis Vuitton TST store to check out Simon's other exhibition "Out of the Darkness" documenting his recent battle with cancer. Wing Shya and Stanley Wong took some intense pictures of the process and there's some really cool pieces that Simon painted during the life changing experience. Definitely worth stopping by.

Some amazing art by Mr.Birch! One day I'll be able to afford one of these..
Paying tribute to Antonio Mak, Simon personally folded and gave away 300 paper tigers (made of $100 bills!). Respect!
It was cool getting a chance to see such a big collection of Mr.Mak's works and seeing how other artists paid tribute to this groundbreaking sculpture.
Kung Chi Sing doing a soundscape installation with live music and video. Dope!
I got paper tiger #297. Thanks Simon!
