Red Star Dim Sum for Haole Birthday(And the mystery flying Har Gau)

Last Sat, we decided to celebrate Haole’s birthday eariler as he is going to be in KL during his birthday. We chose Red Star Dim Sum as we want a nice place to talk and chill,taking our time abit slower.

Frankly speaking i have tried it several times and the dim sum are ok..but not really fantastic and nicely presented. However, it is the whole nostalgic atmosphere and friendly people that makes the place so special and keeping there for business for more than 70 years?

All you see are big tables with families, bring the grandparents, the grandsons and the dogs… It was a warm feeling and pushcarts filled with hot pipping dim sum wheezing past you. It is a nice place to have tea and read some papers…
