Viva la Vida!

Coldplay’s Viva la Vida is playing on my iTunes and i’m falling in love with the song!!

It’s Friday and I’m so thankful that this week is almost over, which means the end of the month! I can’t believe we’re walking into March already, soon it’ll be Easter and then my birthday and by that time, half the year will be over. I had an exciting day yesterday. I woke up early to cover the Nike Training Club event at Fitness First for Randomania .

I was dressed in head-to-toe by Nike and managed to test out the workout led by an official Nike trainer from Oregon. (I now have memories of my ex- driving to Oregon and asking me what size and colour I want for the new Nike Presto, hahahah I think I still have them in Vancouver!) As simple as some of the exercises were, I can’t belive I woke up sore having worked muscles that I didnt know existed. I hit the gym quite regularly and to my surprise, it ended up feeling like a total body workout.

I drove over to the Sri Pentas studio to do some organization with the Gua team and make sure the books were good. Then off to see my pal Pete for lunch. Lunches with Pete are so necessary for my career… even though I have a million people telling me what to do with my career direction, or people giving me advice for no reason, the only person I really listen to is Pete. I really am quite a stubborn Taurus but I’m glad that there’s at least a friend out there who can keep me in check!! We’re working on a pilot for a new series and as much as this is his baby, it’s sorta mine too - we want it to be the best! Not only did I get an energy boost from my Nike workout, I got a mental boost from my lunch with Pete.

Equipped with energy and excitement, I was guest bartender at Aristo Champagne Lounge with buddy Elvanna to mix up a few cocktails. FYI - we only had a couple slip ups from the orders that were pouring in! This was for “Clive Magazine, Malaysia’s Leading Men’s Magazine presents the launch of DELUXE, a new ladies night at Aristo - a decadent night of beautiful people, style, fashion and indulgence!”

I haven’t been out.. but of course, the first place I go always ends up at Zouk - my Babe Bits episode is a little too true there! I’m going to KK tomorrow, I can’t wait… I have a great week ahead of me next week!!!
