Steadi on the hands.

A new career path for me? Last week I was in Malaysia for a steadicam course.  I'm even more in love with it now after taking it.  It felt like a dream to have Garret Brown (Rocky, Shining, Twilight zone, Indiana Jones, Casino) and Jerry Holway (the Apostle, Die Hard, Family Stone) teach me the secret to using the Steadicam. It was a very intense workshop organized by Tiffen.  Mega thanks to Brett and Robin for a wonderful experience. I'll get into more details later...for now...It's time to get my ass movingMy certificateJerry on the left and Garret on the right.  The last day was a test where they both followed me and filmed my every movement.  This is way more nervous than being on stageChris Fawcett another excellent OG steadicam operator teaching me high mode. The rigs got heavier and heavier as the day went on...and the walking got more narrow tooThis is the Tango.  It'll be my next purchase. It's a crane built on a steadicam and the shots are amazing!
