After seeing this video (and a few others in the same vein) I blogged about the insanity of the footwear being proposed by designers (and heavily promoted by magazine editors) in recent seasons. I can't say it any better than I said it there. The things you picture should be kept under glass in a museum as a piece of sculpture. Any resemblence between those works of art and shoes is merely coincidental. Just don't pretend you can really walk in them and you might be all right. Hire a divan chair for the night, girls, if you are contemplating wearing something like this. Nothing says "fashion victim" faster than a woman who can't actually walk in the shoes she is wearing.

Sean K posted on Wednesday, Dec 10, 2008 3:16AM i glide in shoes with those height... why u ask... when i put my clients in such high heels they say i dont know what it feels like... i made a 7inch heel and walked for a day just to shut mouths.... its all in the head... the reason they fell is because the socks were slippery with the shoe ... or so they say haha
