Do Not Claim a Dearth of Diversions

No matter where in the world you live, you must never claim that there is nothing to do on any given night.

Unless you live on North Korea, in which case you'll never read this blog or see this photo or, for all we know, be aware of the Internet or nights out recreating and procreating...No man is an island, and neither is South Korea.

North Korean bands have itwaytoo easy when it comes to nationwide touring.In many ways, it's much too easy to make fun of North Korea. Imagine living in a country whose leader's name conjures, for most of the world, not the man himself but a f@#$ing puppet:I just feel bad for the average person there, whose life cannot be very fun or exciting.

Although, as a friend pointed out, this worker's paradise has, by virtue of it's near-total underdevelopment, a huge amount of pristine, untrammeled landscapes, coastline, and fauna. So they have  that going for them. North Korean nature walks would be great.

Then again, maybe life in North Korea ain't too bad after all...In an effort to defuse regional tensions, they're facing east so that this 'fan service' is visible to Japanese men with telescopes.

Too bad you wouldn't be able to leave the lights on.
