I love that, the hairy eyeball. I'd be more inclined to linger the more they cast the hairy eyeball over me. I can be more passive-aggressive than any waiter alive. I was raised by a passive-aggressive mother and have been surrounded by others of the breed all through graduate school (profs and students alike) and in every job I've ever had, there has always been at least one. I'm the queen of passive-aggressive resistance. HK restaurant personnel, you have met you match. You are forewarned--gird your loins and start beefing up your hair eyeball skills--'case I'z a'coming to HK in the spring. We'll have a Mexican standoff that would make John Woo swoon, only I'll be Chow Yun Fat and you're some no-name grunt. I bet you blink first. :-)
