Everybody Please Say Hello to Warner

I logged into AnD this morning to discover that Warner Hodges, my best friend in the world, has joined AnD!

As I previously noted, Warner's Dad just recently passed away, and it bothered me that I couldn't be there for the services. The only bad part about living here is being so far away from some of the people who mean the most to me.

So please go to his page and say hello. If we can get him to blog even occasionally about his adventures on the road, we will all be vastly entertained and many of us will be invaluably educated!

I'm always telling him that he needs to organize a tour of Japan/Asia, so maybe if we all encourage him it could happen.

Although I'm not sure if even Japan is ready for it/him/us:"You can trust us... really..."The above photo was taken in Houston, TX, in 2003, during a short tour which culminated in a private birthday party at which Jason and the Scorchers played. In a very complex plot to play a joke on vocalist Jason, Colin (right) brought a kilt from his native Scotland for Warner to wear. Jason was rendered speechless, which is kind of a bad thing since he is, of course, the singer .Welcome to AnD, Warner!!!
