Guitar #13 needed some rehabbing.That gaudy neck had some design problems (and some construction problems), so it is gone.
The body had some design problems too. I've worked on the neck joint area, but most importantly I fabricated a new pickguard for the guitar out of aluminum treadplate.Because of the previous design, I needed to rout bigger holes in the face of the guitar (to move the pickups) and cover the hole where the red button used to be (like I said, design mistakes, but you only realizeafteryou build them, that's why they'reprototypes). So the treadplate covers all of that up.
If it looks a bit strange in terms of the curves, it's because it is actually more functional than aesthetic.
A lot like its creator.
That neck is not permanent, it's just there for a reference point while working.
I need to buy or build a neck for this one, since it actually sounds really good when it's all together.
