誰放屁 ?
I was really looking forward to seeing The Bounty/懸紅.
A rare, ambitious undertaking for Hong Kong, the film is a sprawling, epic re-telling of the 1789 mutiny on board HMS Bounty.
Apparently, no expense was spared in painstakingly recreating the settings, wardrobe, and props.
And while I thought the casting of Chapman To as Fletcher Christian and Fiona Sit as Captain Bligh was risky, the film proved me wrong.
The Bounty/懸紅 is indeed a triumph, and my respect for To, Sit, and director Fung Chi Chiang is profound.
Naturally, I’m kidding.
This movie was a pile of crap.
It’s obvious that the director (and his film) are nowhere near as smart as he thinks he/it is.
The Bounty/懸紅 is tedious in that irritating way; you can tell everyone thought they were making art and that they were being wry, coy and hip.
Well, they weren’t, and they didn’t.
And let’s face it, Chapman To could really only ever play Moby Dick.
If we don't support the movies that deserve it, we get the movies that we deserve.
