Updated Renovation Photos

Here are some of the latest pictures. Forgive me for being lazy and using the gallery, but I am simply too tired to get all flowery about it. I am also 3 movie reviews behind for that matter.

The mahjong room has a 48″ TV in it. No mahjong table yet because of all the DVDs in the way. So I need shelves. The foyer houses the Hong Kong DVDs, the mahjong room has all the others. I still need more shelves.

What do you mean, ‘or fewer DVDs’?

The workshop is coming along slowly. As you can see, I am moving things around. I also added posts to the middle of each bench for support. That way I can whack things harder on the benchtop. Because brute force and violence are key ingredients in the repair of fine musical instruments.

I switched the red cabinet with the sander and drill press. That way (I hope), the dust will be produced mostly at one end of the room.

The ‘sinker’ is done; note stainless steel sink, water filter, water heater. All we need now is the shower nozzle and a shower curtain. This will be awesome; I can shower and do the dishes at the same time!

You’ll need to step over the toilet to get to the washing machine. This room will have a shower curtain too, since my knees protude further than the doorway when I drop the kids off at school.
