The other two former Yardbirds guitarists are Eric Clapton and Jimmy Page. Most people venerate, even worship guitarists like Page, Clapton, David Gilmour (Pink Floyd), and Eddie Van Halen.

The most frightening part of it is that Jeff Beck doesn't rely on a lot of electronic or mechanical accessories. He uses the following:

I really can't describe it any other way. He is the most musicalguitarist I have ever heard.

Sure, you can tell its a guitar you're hearing. But that takes second place to the lyrical, melodic nature of what he's playing.

God doesn't make many of them, and I think he's so jealous of Jeff Beck that he won't make another one for a long time.
