The recent rainy days got me remembering countless young days when we'd all huddle under blankets and wait for mom's warm meals... often a big steamy creamy comforting bowl of pasta.

The #lazy #girl in me always tries the recipe on the cans first before adding on. This 1 got me at "just add chicken and mushrooms" #win!

So i thought i'd do the cooking this time for mom...(though i have a sneaky suspicion her spoilt grandchild will end up licking the plate clean)

Serena's lifehack: pasta sauce can acts as a great container to 'grow your own' basil (one of my fave herbs)... will let u know when i ACTUALLY succeed in growing some. Now they just stay in water and smell great for max 2 weeks... then wither ...
