Me Likeee....Le Fenix Hotel at Sukhumvit

So I just got back from 3 days of HARDCORE shopping in Bangkok. Seriously....my lower back was beginning to ache on the second day!Becos of the recent chaos over there, they are desperately trying to win back the tourists. It was all calm when i was there over the weekend but the newspapers headlines yesterday did read "RED SHIRTS VOW REVENGE"  so i am glad to have gone and now back in KL again.A friend recommended a boutique hotel right at sukhumvit soi 11 called le fenix. down the road is bed supperclub and right in front of the hotel are Q Bar and St Moritz club which is a girly bar but has a great band. I didn't venture this trip but i had celebrated my birthday at st moritz like 3 years ago and was very entertained! don't ask! :)le fenix, which is part of the accor group is offering really great rates at the moment. i booked the room on their website for about USD100 for two nights. really great service, nice clean adequate sized rooms.the lobbyreceptionhotel bar.....there is a rooftop bar as well called the nest. unfortunately, i was too tired and it was too hot to gole fenix's contribution to community service :)
