Tuesday's at Terry's

It is 3 am in the morning and I finally put my headphones down.

I was up at 7am and was at my keyboard at 8am.

Pretty early for a guy who can't tell a C Maj from a B Flat Minor.

But it's not how you start it's how u finished.

Today, I achieved a shit f---ing load.

Aside from the hours on a conference call and briefly getting locked out of my apartment today, I finished 3 recordings.

1. I wrote a demo specifically for a very talent group called Da Mouth. They are on the 2nd album and terrytyelee should NEVER BE LEFT OUT of the party. A good friend who I write with often, Dominique came thru to help me sing it. She ended up writing a wonderful pre hook and as always, kicked my ass. But it's always humbly to be collaborating with people of immense talent.

We took a picture to commorate the occassion:

Then when I had finally got done with balancing it. (Remember, I am the only music producer you will know that does NOT have a pair of monitors. Not trying to be special or cool, just don't have the space for it at the moment.

Well, as I finished...two other people showed up. There names were Eagle and Falcon.

I was tired cause i was on 12 hours straight of work.

But recording with the Eagle and the Falcon is always a pleasure.

The Eagle knocked out a song called Do It that him and I wrote awhile back and he shined as always. I will be working on Do It in the days to come.

Remember, when u get knocked the FUCK OUT by a song called Do IT by an artist who resembles the might of an eagle....it was born out of today and some day in Spring.

Then the Eagle left to proceed to other birdly affairs and the Falcon sat down to record what we deemed a highly IMPORTANT single. The Falcon is very picky with his music. He wants a certain tone that represents him. Today's song, which lyrics he so beautifully penned.

It is 3am. I have added 3 more songs to my catalog along with the other 1 or 2 i add per day.

I have decided that there is no point sitting at home with my collection of songs.

I've been single for 2 years and I think  I'm ready to try out other sports like dating......
