When I was about eighteen years old, I told to my best friend Elaine that I wanted to be a singer. She was my high school friend from the States and she suggested me to visit her in Taiwan during summer break.  She said that she could help me to arrange an audition in Taiwan. I was thrilled to know and was very thankful about it! 

When I arrived the studio, they gave me a list of songs and asked me to pick two songs out of it.  I was supposed to sing those songs on the next day without lyrics.  So I picked two songs of Shino that I’m familiar with – 心動 & 手太小  The record company gave us four concert tickets before we left.  The concert was on the same day as my audition!  Shino performed in that concert and she sang 心動 that night. Elaine and I was touched by the whole trip and we both cried when she sang that song. It was a really touching and memorable moment! I could never forget that day.   This Shino 2009 music gig reminded me of that trip… I still have my audition cassette tape with those two songs! I showed it to Shino. I asked for her autograph because I thought it would be meaningful.  Shino saw it and she was surprised too. Haha! She gave me an older version autograph so that it matches with the CASSETTE TAPE. HA HA
