Guys, to this day i must admit, i m hooked on to youtube(when ever i have the leisure that is), watching the Downtown show! I have got to know about this show for almost a year. Those of u who havnt heard of it, its basically a japanese variety show hosted by the popular japanese owarai duo, downtown- hitoshi matsumoto 松本人志 and masatoshi hamada 浜田雅功. this program began broadcasting since 1989, and has been one of the most popular comedy show in japan from then on.

My favourite segment of the show has got to be the 'no laughing' games. In simple terms, participants in the game, are tempted to laugh at duration up to 24 hours, which they must not, otherwise they are punished physically and repeatedly. Seems like an easy task right? wait till you watched the following:

Those who want to see more, go on youtube and check out the complete series, some of them are english subtitled(good job translators!). I couldnt stop watching and laughing, and became kind of a junkie. Now i m eagerly waiting for the subtitles for the policeman series, its hilarious!
