WhyOceans was formed in 2005, and since then they have never stopped impressing crowds with their energetic and infectious live performances, always striving to deliver both sonic and visual pleasure to the audience. The band members' varied musical interests combine in a kind of alchemical reaction, creating what many claim is a unique style all their own. Their sound is a blend of various elements including Alternative, Psychedelic, Post Rock and Cinematic music. The band's debut album is scheduled for release in the fall of 2010.

WhyOceans are one of Macau’s best and most popular groups. Monolithic, vast harmonies and beautiful melodic counterpoint wash over the public in waves like an ocean, and the response is always a mix of awe and admiration.
