艺人信息 ：

　　自2005年成立以来， whyOceans便从没间断地向大众展示他们那富有澎湃张力及感染力的现场演出。乐队成员包括：Luis Carvalhais ( 吉他/主音)、Tommy Chu ( 吉他)、Jase Lam ( 贝斯)、Guillaume Leclerc ( 吉他/键琴)、Jackal Tam ( 钢琴/键琴/合成器) 及 Ellison Lau ( 鼓/敲击)。　　乐队一直致力于带给观众听觉上及视觉上的震撼。建基于多种不同的音乐喜好上，乐队成功为自己建立出独一无二的音乐风格。其曲风大概包含着另类摇滚/迷幻摇滚/后摇滚/配乐等不同元素。 乐队的首张大碟正计划于2010年下旬推出 。

　　乐队成立后，积极参与及活跃于各类型的音乐节及演出，足迹遍及澳门、香港及中国大陆。主要的演出包括：( 澳门)「Hush!! Full Band 马拉松摇滚音乐祭」、( 广州)「声锐。后摇音乐节」( 跟中国首席后摇劲旅 惘闻同台)、( 澳门)「Macau Underground」、( 香港)「Hong Kong Underground」、(澳门)「影像 x 现场音乐会@牛房仓库」( 跟日本著名电音音乐人柏大辅同台)等等，演出备受赞赏。乐队亦不时接受澳门本地、香港及中国珠海邻近地区的酒吧、私人场所及商业活动的邀请作演出，当中包括：( 香港)Esprit旗舰店开幕活动作表演嘉宾、( 珠海) 现场酒吧作圣诞派对表演嘉宾、( 澳门)大门酒吧作专场演出、( 澳门)澳门威尼斯人酒店蓝蛙酒吧作专场演出。

WhyOceans was formed in 2005, since the band has never stopped impressing crowds with their energetic and infectious live performances. The band consists of LuisCarvalhais(Guitars/Vocals), Tommy Chu (Guitar), Jase Lam (Bass), Guillaume Leclerc (Guitar/Keyboard), Jackal Tam (Piano/Keyboard/Synthesizer)and Ellison Lau (Drums/Percussion).

The band strives to deliver both audio and visual pleasure to audiences. With chemical reaction by different musical interests, WhyOceans has been claimed to have created a unique style of their own. Their sounds compile with different elements from Alternative/Psychedelic/Post Rock/Soundtracks. The band also plans to release their debut album at 2010 fall.

WhyOceans has been participating in various music festivals and gigs happening in the Macau, Hong Kong and Mainland China. Namely:  ( Macau)“Hush! Full Band Rock Marathon Festival”, (Guangzhou)“Post-Rock Festival 2009 Guangzhou” (with WangWen – famous Post-Rock band from China), (Macau)“Macau Underground”, (HK)“Hong Kong Underground”, (Macau)“Visual x Music @ Ox-Warehouse (with Kashiwa Daisuke – famous program musician from Japan),

with receiving positive feedbacks and appreciations from the audiences. The band is also recently invited to perform by pubs/bars, private units and business activities from Macau, Hong Kong or Mainland China. Namely: (HK) Performance guest for Launch Party for Flagship Esprit Store, (Zhuhai) Performance guest for Christmas party in Live Bar, (Macau) Headline concert in Portal Wine Bar, (Macau) Headline concert in Blue Frog bar and grill (Venetian, Macau).

In addition to participate in various types of art events, the band was also involved in some art projects these years. 2009 April - “After Silence”, the band was invited by International Film Society UMSU, to perform live soundtracks for several silent movies together with a Post-Rock band from Guangzhou – SWAMP (Aka Zhao ze). Moreover, the band was also participated in 2008, 2009 and 2010 Macau International Film Festival: “The Rising City” (2008) as the theme song, video performances and interviews at “ Macau, música é diferença．Macao Music Box” (2009), documentary film at “Amateur Express” (2010).
