These sorts of pictures always take me inside of physical reality, somewhere beyond the mere surface of things, where contours and even surfaces dissolve and everything is light and air. I keep thinking of quantum physics and how something like 98% of the composition of solid objects is air and not matter. You probably just saw an interesting effect of light on a surface, and here I go bringing quantum physics into it. Interpretation of art can go in so many different directions, let's hope some of them are interesting to the creator.
