OOPS! I m.e.a.n my BROTHER's baby's pictures!!!
some says he looks like my dad. Everybody in my family WANTS to look like my dad. He is presumed to having "优质" gene I guess. hahaha....
I can't believe my brother is A FATHER now. I know I am not the most eligible person to comment on him but I still SEE (and I mean it as a literal verb) him as a big child. He IS still a big child. I guess I have to hold the shiver to myself when I picture him handling his baby or having to be responsible as a father to the small creature.
He does look happy though. Don't you agree? he he. Ow. I finally named Mimmi's only surviving baby. Guess! What did I name her? No idea? BB. hahahahaha... I've been screaming at the edge of my throat BB, BB, BB, BB that it stucked with me now. Yea. So, her name is XIU MI BB. hahahaha......
My bro and his korean wife. Wanna know the blood in my family? hehe....
My dad is from shanghai, mum from Taiwan, my bro's wife is from Korea, my uncle is from Thailand, step-sis in law from America. So I gotta find a boyfriend from Japan, HK or some other place. hahahahahaha....
It's a bit complicated when we gather together. I communicate with my family in Mandarin, to sis in law and bro in Malay. YES! She learned to speak Malay as it's much easier than Mandarin. I speak to my bro in Malay so that he doesn't need to translate it all over again to her each time I speak to him infront of her. I then speak to my mum in cantonese . (u know.... in-laws try to "speak" in different languages for convenience purposes, so my mum defended herself! ~that should include languages that my father AND brother don't understand. Her cantonese is Taiwanese-cantonese which is VERY hard for me to understand. I in return often give her a blank face). For example, she'll pronounce LAM(think) as lem~pronounced l+um. every "ah" sound is replaced with "eh" sound. tam lun oi --> tem lun oi.
Yet in the end, I tend to speak in English at home. Coz it seems to be the most neutral language to use at home, too fast for my parents and in laws to understand (apart from my step sis in law who's living in US now). CONCLUSION? I chose to speak to myself. hahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
