THIS IS CRAZY!!!!

Por yee,  died today. He was my newest grey blue campbell. I am going mad. Baby Por Yee Por Yeee, a  young adult grey blue campbell, only 2 months old - 15/05/09 (7.20am)

These pictures were taken Friday morning at 7.20am. He just had his morning snack.

Showered him today afternoon around 4pm. Gave him late afternoon snack around 6pm.

Grey blue campbell die easily. they have such weak immune system and heart and they have genetical problems. Grey blue campbell has double diluted genes to give them that grey and blue colour on their coat. They are beautiful and arguably cuter but it causes lots of hereditary genetical problems as well.

1. Yai Yai died August 2008 from weakened immune system after recovering from broken leg.

1. Cus Cus died at 3 months old, March 2009 from exhaustion and refusal to eat after mating. Died after 3 days without food.

1. Yat Yat died April 2009 from genetical problems. died within 24 hours of getting sick. Yat Yat

2. Guai Yee died April 2009 2 days after Yat Yat from the same sickness. Guai Yee

3. BuBu died end of April 2009, same sickness. JUMBO BUBU

They all died on my palm. I felt bad that I had to watch them die.

He was still playing around when I went out to buy dinner. He had Xiu Guai accompanying him when he died. I took the dinasour bed outand when I tilt it over, Xiu Guai came out but something hard fell out, Por Yee

Por Yee... he is the first hamster that did not die on my palm. (They all came to me before they died). He still look very cute though dead. I can't believe he's dead. Few hours ago, he still plays around with his snack. I watched him all smudged up again just after shower and few hours later he's dead. So far 7 dead grey blue campbell hamsters. THAT IS A LOT! The last 5 happened in 2 months! this is too much to take!

I read that cross breeding Winter white campbell with campbell hamsters can cause a lot of problems with the babies, like infertility, health problems and so on. However, I see that my crossbred grandkids and great grand kids seem to be A LOT healthier than the normal grey blue campbell hamsters. Winter whites are so much stronger and healthier.

The new borns' parents are both crossbreeds. Mimmi gave birth to 8 babies. only 1 has their grandma Guai Guai's grey blue colour (far right)

I named him MiLo. I  hope MiLo will grow up healthier than the other dead grey blue folks. T_T

Xiu Mi (cross breed X grey blue) is two shades lighter than a winter white campbell.  Mimmi (Winter white X Grey Blue) is a shade lighter than Ching Ling, a winter white)
