Congrats to Vince Chung, winner of The Amazing Race Asia Season 3!

wow!   spoiler alert! (well i guess the title already gave it away...)

Tonight was the finale of 'The Amazing Race Asia Season 3', hosted by Allan Wu.

I met up with the CBfresh guys and a few other boosters to watch the finale at Grappas in Central. Apparently its a popular gathering spot for watching the show, there were about 30-40 people there watching at least, a few even had HK flags to cheer on Sam and alivenotdead.com artist Vince, who were representing HK in the Amazing Race.

Vince was actually in Bangkok for AXN's official finale event, so we had to watch it w/o him (apparently he and sam were both there the week before).

It was quite tense,  last week Sam's failure to finish a roadblock challenge put them WAAY behind  the lead two teams going into the finale.  (a 4 hour penalty!) 

With a lot of hard work (and some good luck on the other teams getting stuck in the sand),  they managed to close the gap...

seemed like they got all the unruly camels...

By the time they got to the end and we finally realize that Sam and Vince were going to win,  the crowd went crazy:

yeah!

Congrats to Vince and Sam, who are now US$100,000 richer!  

now that we know he actually one, its pretty amazing to realize that Vince managed to keep all of us completely in the dark about the whole thing these last few months. 

Even more interesting considering we were just partying with him last night at the Hardpack CD party...

i guess the TARA3 finale party started early!

damn, I want to try out next year! :-P
