On working and not working

So I was having a conversation with Haz.. and I discussed a possible scenario where working at my current job might still allow me x amount of time to work on creative ventures/projects VERSUS if I did not work and have a job I might theoretically STILL only work on my projects the SAME X hours.

So I said, in this case.. what would be the point of not working at a job except that I would save on my commute time to work.

The answer came to be that.. EVEN if I still had the same amount of available time to work.. there would still be a difference in intensity. The mental change of not having security would be fire under my ass fueling me to work faster. Its a matter of risk vs reward and stepping out of your comfort zone!
